Assembly Team Associate

Assembly Team Overview: The Assembly Team Associate is responsible for building crates and skids out of lumber and plywood using assembly drawings and various hand tools. This position is also responsible for providing back up support when the Assembly Team Lead is not available.

Assembly Team Shift: 6am-4:30 Monday-Friday (OT flexibility is a must)

Assembly Team Location: Crystal

Assembly Team Pay: $20/hour, depending on experience. Temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate!

Assembly Team Key Duties:

• Build crates out of lumber and plywood with the use of hand power tools, saws and assembly drawings
• Work efficiently to complete jobs at or under a quoted amount of time
• Read and interpret written orders and specifications
• Provide back up support when the Assembly Team Lead is not available
• Adhere to the company safety regulations and assist in the training and awareness of safety guidelines to
  new members of your team
• Follow instructions and policies relative to quality and quantity

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working with power tools, saws, blueprints and tape measure
• Lift up to 50lbs, stand most of your shift
• Must wear steel toed shoes, eye protection and other PPE
• Forklift experience to move inventory throughout the production area
• Must have a GED or High School Diploma
• Ability to use a tape measure
• Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays, if required by production schedule
• Ability to work in a team-based environment or individual projects
• Ability to know the different types and sizes of lumber and plywood.
