Salary range: $23.00 to $29.00 an hour. Starting wage will be dependent on experience level.

Shop hours are Monday - Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Assists in providing work direction and training of employees, adds organizational and visual control improvements, and according to workload analysis helps to perform any combination of tasks.

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Two years of work experience in an applicable area: packaging, shipping, light assembly
• Experience as a leader or organizer of people or tasks

• Assists supervisor
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to learn job tasks in the department alongside of the team

• Receive, carry out, and communicate to co-workers, assignments from immediate or acting supervisor.
• Assure production schedule is met and collaborate on creative solutions.
• Inventory parts regularly, reporting any shortages to supervisor.
• When required, help to package products.
• Read and interpret standard label drawings.

• Assign and communicate work direction from supervisor.
• System reporting for job completion and work times
• Follow all safety rules; including using all recommended personal protection equipment.
• Perform in-process and finished production inspection.
• Give input to and improve packaging procedures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
