The packaging and warehouse departments at Indeed are constantly growing and changing, flexing to meet the needs of the company and adapting to stay near the cutting edge of the industry. This is a fast‑paced and complex work environment which requires a high level of patience, critical thinking, and awareness.

The Packaging and Warehouse Assistant is part of the Beer team and reports to the Warehouse & Inventory Manager. A typical day in the life of a packaging and warehouse assistant involves working on the packaging line—refilling packaging materials during operation (trays, lids, Paktechs, cartons), monitoring machines and transitions to keep the line running smoothly, palletizing and wrapping finished products—across the street at our Quincy Station location—assisting with the receipt, storage, daily organization and cleanliness, shipment of finished goods, and daily transfer of raw materials between the brewery and the Quincy Station warehouse.

• Operating packaging equipment including can filler, cartoner and case packer
• Keg washing and filling
• Palletizing cases using an automated or manual pallet wrap
• Assist with general maintenance, organization, and cleanliness of Quincy Station warehouse and company vehicles
• Assist in managing finished goods of all cold beer warehoused at Indeed and its warehouse using First In, First Out (FIFO)
• Conduct Inventory and Cycle Counts with 100% accuracy as directed by the Warehouse & Inventory Manager.
• Safely load and unload trucks using forklift and/or pallet jack and transfer finished goods between warehouses
• Set up, sanitization, and CIP of brewery and product lines
• Facility cleaning, organization, and special projects as directed by Warehouse & Inventory Manager
• Other duties as assigned including but not limited to working during Whirlygig weekend

• High school/GED or higher
• Forklift certified, training provided if not certified
• Safe and clean driving record in the state of Minnesota
• DOT certified, certification and training provided if not certified
• Ability to safely operate job‑related equipment (hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, box truck, etc.)
• Safety conscious
• Able to meet physical demands (see below)
• Previous experience in manufacturing, food or drink packaging, automotive repair, or other trade industries will provide relatable experience

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for hours at a time, walk, climb, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and hear.
