Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Assembly
Assembly Mechanic – 1st Shift 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | $22–$28/hr
We’re hiring an Assembly Mechanic to build mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components for high‑quality paving and construction equipment. This role involves assembling custom equipment from blueprints and schematics while working with a wide range of tools to ensure accuracy, safety, and reliability.
Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components on the production line
- Build custom equipment following blueprints and schematics
- Assemble frames, axles, motors, A/C units, and electrical harnesses
- Use torque wrenches, ratchets, pneumatic pulse tools, nutrunners, and DC electric tools
- Calibrate tools and fixtures as needed
- Apply proper torque using pneumatic and pulse equipment
- Work with hoses, fittings, pipe threads, jam nuts, and bulkhead fittings
- Inspect completed equipment to meet shop standards
- Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and team members
- Adjust to changing production schedules and report discrepancies in BOMs, parts, or processes
- Steady mechanic shop environment with work that progresses from start to finish

This is a Permanent position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
