DailyResponsibilities
- Follow all established standard work to ensure accurate delivery of products to the pressroom
- Mount plates and ring screens based on expeditor schedule
- Perform all duties required to stage jobs for production
- Prepare job paperwork, plates, screens, ink, dies, cores, anilox, etc.
- Maintain appropriate documentation following standard work
- Clean, return, and file all components from the pressroom
- Perform daily maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability of tooling and equipment
- Effective time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines on multiple long and short-term projects simultaneously
- Ability to think through the mechanical aspects of equipment operations and decision-making
- Solid computer skills, including the ability to learn new computer systems
- Good math, reading, and writing skills, ability to tactfully communicate with customers and employees of all levels of the company
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a diverse group of people and personalities
Compensation will be based on the skills and experiences you bring to Smyth. The minimum hourly wage for this position is $18.00 and the maximum is $21.00. Our full benefits package includes health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k), medical flexible spending account, dependent care flexible spending account, tuition reimbursement, health & wellness programs, paid time off, long-term disability, and short-term disability.
