AboutThe Role
Triangle is looking for a Laser Machine Operator to support die-making production by setting up and operating laser equipment with accuracy and efficiency. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-focused, and enjoy running equipment that requires precision, you'll fit right in.
What You’ll Do- Set up and operate laser cutting equipment per job tickets, CAD layouts, and production specs
- Perform make‑readies and ensure correct material/board setup, alignment, and program selection
- Monitor machine performance during runs to ensure quality and accuracy
- Complete in‑process checks, make adjustments as needed, and verify parts meet specifications
- Maintain production records, counts, and downtime notes in the system
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues and elevate more complex concerns to maintenance or leadership
- Perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, basic part replacement)
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all PPE/safety requirements
- Support cross‑training and assist other departments/equipment during peak workloads
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior machine operation experience preferred (laser experience is a plus, but not required with strong aptitude)
- Ability to read job tickets, CAD images, and basic blueprints
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting/problem‑solving skills
- Basic math skills (measurements, counts, waste tracking)
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing floor environment with varying noise levels; PPE required
- Standing/walking/bending; repetitive movements
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work safely around sharp tools and moving equipment
