Overview
Produce high quality products and services for our customers. Assemble and inspect products to ensure the highest quality is provided. Responsible for your work area to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.
Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies referring to engineering specs, prints, layouts and/or verbal instructions.
- Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs and adjustable parameters and record non-adjustable parameters.
- Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
- Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
- Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
- Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
- Disassembles, replaces parts, readjusts and reassembles devices to complete repairs.
- Perform electronic troubleshooting at the level consistent with the schooling required as indicated at the end of this job description.
- May assist or instruct other Electro-Mechanical Builders or employees at lower labor grades.
- High School Diploma
- Two or more classes of progressive electronics training from an accredited college or university (Intro to Electronics I and II, etc.). Must be able to provide transcripts.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
SalaryThe annual base salary range for this position is $31.86 per hour, not including, when applicable, a $1.10 per hour shift differential.
