In this role, you will primarily operate CNC equipment and automated machinery to fabricate aluminum components used in storefront, curtain wall, and door systems. You'll be a key contributor to a highly skilled, collaborative team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environment.
A Day in the Life – CNC Metal FabricationAs a CNC Operator / Metal Fabricator, your primary responsibility will be the precision machining and fabrication of aluminum components using CNC equipment and automated systems.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to cut, drill, notch, and machine aluminum extrusions to specification
- Interpret shop drawings, cut sheets, and digital programs to ensure accurate production
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
- Perform routine machine checks, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure optimal machine performance
- Use automated saws, drills, and CNC equipment to produce consistent, repeatable parts for commercial glazing installation
- Inspect machined components for accuracy, finish quality, and conformance to specifications
- Maintain production flow to meet daily and weekly production targets
This role is primarily focused on CNC machining and metal fabrication processes rather than assembly work.
Qualifications- High School diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of experience in CNC machining, metal fabrication, or manufacturing
- Experience operating CNC machinery for aluminum fabrication preferred
- CNC programming experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
- Experience using precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and stand for extended periods
- Hands-on CNC programming & machining work
- Focus on precision fabrication

- Competitive union pay starting at $29.82/hr. progressing to $32.86/hr.
