CNC Programmer

$38 - $48 per hour | Minneapolis, MN | On‑Site | Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Develop, prove‑out, and maintain CNC programs using CAM software (Mastercam preferred)
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T to produce tight‑tolerance components
  • Optimize tooling, fixturing, feeds, speeds, and cycle times for efficiency and repeatability
  • Support first article inspections (FAI), validation activities, and ongoing production
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues; implement corrective actions
  • Create and maintain setup sheets, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 / FDA requirements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across machining operations
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam strongly preferred)
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
  • Experience machining tight‑tolerance parts (±0.0005” or tighter)
  • Background in regulated industries (medical device preferred; aerospace acceptable)
  • Solid understanding of tooling, fixturing, and CNC machining fundamentals
