Overview
As an Electronic Technician II at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead a team of skilled technicians in the assembly and testing of electronic components and systems. Your role will involve overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will impact the efficiency and quality of our electronic assembly processes and foster a high‑performing team environment.
Shift Hours5th shift:
Monday & Friday – 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday & Sunday 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Supervise a team of electronic technicians in the assembly and testing of electronic components and systems.
- Ensure all assembly processes are efficient and accurate, meeting quality standards and production targets.
- Provide technical guidance and support, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with other departments, train and develop team members, monitor production metrics, and maintain a safe work environment.
- Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies referencing engineering specs, prints, layouts and/or verbal instructions.
- Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs and adjustable parameters and record non‑adjustable parameters.
- Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
- Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
- Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
- Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
- Disassemble, replace parts, readjust and reassemble devices to complete repairs.
- Perform electronic troubleshooting at a level consistent with the schooling required as indicated at the end of this job description.
- May assist or instruct other employees at lower labor grades.
- 5+ years of experience in electronic assembly and testing.
- Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- An ability to support 5th shift hours, including any mandated overtime.
- Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electronic components and assembly processes.
- Experience with quality control and continuous improvement methodologies.

CompensationThe annual base salary range for this position is $37.82 per hour, not including any applicable shift differential.
