Role Definition

Produces master schedules for overall plant activities; considers all dependencies and contingencies. Responsible for new orders and order change, make sure requests can be successfully received by order system. Supervises, schedules, coordinates, and controls complex production schedules. Supports customer inquiries for order lead time and order configuration change.

Responsibilities
  • Supervising and controlling new sales orders, identifying the key elements and communicate downstream for required actions.
  • Auditing order change requests from customers, evaluate acceptance of the order change request from a material, production plan, technical and logistics perspective.
  • Serving as primary contact for customer inquiries; providing feedback about lead time, planned timeline, order change, order reschedules, etc.
  • Aligned customers order with Sales production plan to achieve the monthly goal.
  • Primary contact with other departments to manage sales and customer priorities.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve product-related issues and incorporate customer and business requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong scheduling and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of inventory planning and basic manufacturing operations; product and commodity knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems. SAP experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • APICS certification and familiarity with Six Sigma principles preferred.
  • Strong internal customer orientation to set production up for success.
  • Solid understanding of Demand/Supply Chain processes and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Description of Activities

Plan work orders for all products aligned with customer and company expectations, generated by customer orders, ERP system messages, and internal work order requests

Maintain plan board for specific product families

Enable optimal utilization of available resources (materials, people, machines)

Perform capacity adjustments in ERP software and escalate capacity shortfalls

Monitor material availability: escalate issues

Summary Pay Range:

$87,480.00 - $
