Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Manufacturing Engineer
Our client, a leader in industrial operations, is seeking an Operating Engineer 3 (5-7 years) to join their dedicated team. As an Operating Engineer 3, you will be an integral part of the operations department supporting maintenance, safety, and efficiency initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

What’s the Job?Operate various types of heavy machinery and industrial equipment following operational guidelines
Monitor equipment during operation to ensure efficiency and safety, adjusting controls as necessary
Perform routine maintenance on machinery to maintain optimal performance
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and execute repairs independently or with maintenance technicians
Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training to prevent accidents and injuries
Solid understanding of heavy machinery and industrial equipment operating principles
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and strength to work in varied environmental conditions
