Responsibilities
- Conduct hands‑on tests for a variety of processes and materials, working with several Process Engineers and Operators.
- Assist with writing test reports.
- Assist with data analysis.
- Update process and part number work instructions.
- Create instructions that emphasize photos and videos in place of written words.
- Support root cause analysis and daily nonconforming material resolutions.
- Infrequent travel to other AFS factories is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: Technical degree or significant relevant experience.
Experience: 0‑5 years’ experience.
Technology/Equipment: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Travel: Infrequent travel between sites.
Additional Skill Set: Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills; strong communication skills; effective technical writing skills.
Working Environment- Work hours will vary and/or be extended as the product moves through the factory.
- Work is done indoors in a climatically controlled facility.
- Work on the plant floor may present exposure to possibly hazardous conditions. Proper safety equipment is provided by the company for employees—its use is mandatory.
