What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in building custom electrical and mechanical assemblies used in advanced automation and control systems.

  • Assemble and wire electrical and mechanical components for control panels, housings, and automation equipment
  • Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and written work instructions
  • Perform custom wiring, routing, terminations, and connections to precise specifications
  • Use hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, crimpers, tweezers, screw guns, and drill guns
  • Troubleshoot basic wiring or assembly issues and make corrections as needed
  • Perform visual and functional quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
  • Document defects, rework items when required, and follow quality procedures
  • Maintain parts inventory at your workstation to support smooth production flow
  • Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe at all times
  • Use basic computer systems to access instructions and complete documentation
What We’re Looking For Required
  • 1–2 years of experience in electrical assembly or custom wiring
  • Ability to read basic blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings
  • Hands‑on experience with electrical wiring and components
  • Comfort using common hand tools and handheld power tools
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety standards
  • Basic computer navigation skills
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Technical or vocational training in electrical assembly, automation, or a related field
  • Experience with control panels or automated controls
  • Familiarity with quality documentation and defect reporting
  • Ability to pass a basic ruler or measurement test
  • Interest in automation, controls, and advanced manufacturing

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
