Kurt Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team within the Machining Division in Fridley, Minnesota.
The CNC Machinist II is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating numerically controlled machine tools. This role involves performing a series of progressive machining operations on repetitive work pieces, ensuring close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications.

2000 Sign on Bonus eligible for this role.
Shift/
Hours:
Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-3:00am and Fri 2:30pm-11:00pm. Shift Differential:
Second shift employees are eligible for a 20% shift differential on top of base pay.
Compensation:
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $30.24 to $40.32. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors, including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.
- Work from programming instructions, operational data and machine setup instructions defining and coding tool arrangements, material clamping methods, machine calibrations and console settings.
- Check parts for conformance to specifications.
- Operators may be required to run more than one unit simultaneously.
- Requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC operational procedures.

QualificationsRequired
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years of related experience
- Ability to perform metric conversions
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings
Preferred
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 4 or more years of related experience
