As an Electronic Technician II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead a team of skilled technicians in the assembly and testing of electronic components and systems. Your role will involve overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will be a key player in maintaining production schedules and optimizing workflows to meet Honeywell's high standards of excellence.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our electronic assembly processes, ensuring that our products meet stringent performance and reliability standards. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Shift Schedule – 4th Shift
  • Thursday: 10pm – 6am
  • Friday: 10pm – 10am
  • Saturday: 10pm – 10am
  • Sunday: 10pm – 6am
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of electronic technicians in the assembly and testing of electronic components and systems.
  • Ensure all assembly processes are efficient and accurate, meeting quality standards and production targets.
  • Provide technical guidance and support, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with other departments, train and develop team members, monitor production metrics, and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs and adjustable parameters and record non-adjustable parameters.
  • Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
  • Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
  • Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
  • Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
  • Disassemble, replace parts, readjust and reassemble devices to complete repairs.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in electronic assembly and testing.
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and assembly processes.
  • Experience with quality control and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

The annual base salary range for this position is $37.82 per hour, not including any applicable shift differential.
