Over 30 years ago, Arrowhead Coating and Converting was added to provide custom adhesive solutions from concept through production.

Role Description

The Screen Press Operator role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in the Greater Minneapolis–St. Paul Area. In this role, you will set up, operate and monitor screen printing presses to produce decals, labels, overlays, and related printed products according to job specifications. You will prepare screens and materials, perform basic pre‑press tasks and ensure proper alignment, color accuracy, and registration throughout each production run.

Daily responsibilities include inspecting printed output for quality, making adjustments to equipment as needed, and performing routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on presses and related machinery. You will follow safety and production guidelines, document work orders, collaborate with production and quality team members, and help maintain an organized, efficient work area.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in machine operation and screen press setup, with the ability to run and monitor printing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong quality control focus, including inspecting output, identifying defects, and making adjustments to maintain consistent print quality.
  • Hands‑on printing skills, preferably in screen printing or related print production environments, with an understanding of inks, substrates, and registration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and process issues on presses and related equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Familiarity with pre‑press processes such as screen preparation, artwork review, and job setup is beneficial.
  • Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and comfort working in a fast‑paced, production‑oriented setting.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as needed, and follow all safety and workplace procedures.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, print production, or converting is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required.
