Job DescriptionThe Crane Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of materials in the warehouse. The candidate must possess knowledge and skills regarding the capabilities, limitations, and mechanical state of cranes, lifting devices, and attachments. The person in this position is required to inspect the work area and machines and equipment daily for safe working conditions, be safety and quality conscious, and perform other duties such as operating banding equipment, packaging material, and tow‑motor operation.
Pay Range: $28.50 – $29.50 per hour
Qualifications- Must have 1 year of related field experience.
- Previous forklift experience is required.
- Must be mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious.
- Basic math skills are required, with general knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices, and a working knowledge of general computer programs strongly preferred.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work the 2nd shift, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Monday–Friday.
