1st Shift, Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM with required O/T on some weekends

• 4+ years experience as a toolmaker preferred.
• Experience as a die toolmaker forming dies, semi-permanent dies, and completing layout work.
• Familiarity with short run stamping tooling through progressive dies.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Standing for long durations of time.
• Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.

  The employee must be able to use a computer, phone, and standard office equipment daily.
• Plans, designs, constructs, or repairs a wide variety of intricate and complicated tools, dies, jigs, gauges, fixtures, to close tolerances.
• Performs some difficult development work. Constructs complex units where design is available.
• Selects allowances and devises mechanism detail. Does skilled fitting, timing, and adjusting.
• Performs difficult tool room machine operations. This includes CAD/KEY, CNC lathe and other technologies (as these technologies exist or arise) required to perform tool room operations.
• Works from complicated drawings and sketches. Uses advanced shop mathematics and all types of precision measuring instruments. Requires high degree of experience and trade skill and thorough knowledge of machine shop practice.
