Overview
Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II at Honeywell Aerospace. This role focuses on planning and designing manufacturing engineering processes, determining parts and tools needed to meet product specifications for existing and new processes or technologies, maximizing efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization. The role supports daily production activities and drives producibility improvement projects in a challenging environment.
Responsibilities- Influence the planning and design of manufacturing engineering processes.
- Define process equipment requirements and specifications for Ring Laser Gyroscopes (RLGs) manufacturing and evaluation.
- Review processing techniques and methods applied in manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of RLGs.
- Determine parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications for existing and new processes/technologies.
- Maximize efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization.
- Support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects in a challenging environment.
