Job Title

Pay Rate: $19.25/hr
Hours:
3:30 PM - 2 AM | Mon-Thu
- Produce high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell.
- Perform detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery per documented procedures.
- Engage in electronic assembly, casting/coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging.
- Clean tools and equipment per documented procedures and dispose of hazardous waste material appropriately.
- Assemble medical devices and related components.
- Work in a controlled cleanroom environment, using microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and operating various equipment.
- Perform routine assignments according to specified and/or standardized procedures under close supervision.
- Conduct visual inspection and precision measurements on components and assemblies.
- Test units using computerized test equipment and repair devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools.
- Package devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete.
- Maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and quality assurance of all products.
- Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices and equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance production processes.
- Notify supervisor or lead of supply/material needs and production difficulties.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager in setting and monitoring goals and performance metrics.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment.
- Perform other related duties as directed or assigned.
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical device assembly.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow English written procedures at a 6th-grade level.
- Basic math skills at a 6th-grade level.
- Effective verbal communication skills in English.
- Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
- Good dexterity to handle and maneuver small components and parts.
- Ability to prioritize work and make critical decisions with minimal supervision.
