Our client, a manufacturing organization dedicated to operational excellence and continuous improvement, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Rate: $30.00/hour

Position Type: 1-Year Contract-to-Hire

Shift: Sunday night - Friday morning, 11:00PM - 7:30AM

What's the Job?
  • Complete maintenance assignments to repair and maintain equipment in good operating condition efficiently and accurately.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical devices, dismantle, examine, and replace defective parts.
  • Repair and troubleshoot input/output devices using PLC systems and upgrade electrical circuits and systems.
  • Operate shop machinery such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and welding equipment to modify or repair parts and equipment.
  • Support preventive maintenance efforts to improve equipment reliability and uptime, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
What's Needed?
  • Technical School Degree or equivalent experience; completed Associate Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing environments, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with shop machinery and hand tools, along with the ability to operate forklifts and hydraulic platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.
