Team Lead IV

The Team Lead IV is responsible for overseeing daily operations within an assigned production area, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.

This role acts as a liaison between frontline team members and management, providing leadership, coaching, and direction to ensure production goals are achieved. The Team Lead IV will play a key role in training, continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a positive team environment. In-person exchanges are invaluable to our work. We're working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Leads production team work process, equipment testing, manufacturing, disassembly, and reassembly as assigned by supervisor.
  • Prioritizes use of operators according to build schedule.
  • Communicates process issues and provides status updates to team supervisor.
  • Coaches operators/assemblers on production and problem solving skills, performing technical review and machinery setup/breakdown as needed.
  • Ensures Medtronic company quality and safety standards are upheld.

Required Knowledge and

Experience:

  • 5 years of work experience.

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing or medical device environment
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Technical aptitude with production equipment and machinery
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
