Assembler
As an Assembler, you build Titan brand units by performing standard and repetitive assembly tasks on the line or at a bench. You use a variety of hand and power tools, shop machinery, and custom tooling to assemble products such as paint sprayers, power rollers, and heat guns with precision and care.
Responsibilities- Assemble Titan brand units using hand and power tools, ensuring all components meet quality and production standards.
- Perform standard and repetitive assembly operations on a production line or at a bench, following established work instructions and procedures.
- Operate a variety of shop machinery and handheld tools, including presses, custom tooling, air drivers, torque wrenches, and other equipment required to complete work orders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and simple instructions to correctly assemble products and verify proper component placement.
- Use tape measures and other measuring devices to confirm accurate dimensions and alignment of parts during assembly.
- Follow lean manufacturing and 5S practices to maintain an organized, efficient, and safe work area.
- Inspect assembled products for defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members and trainers during one-on-one training to learn best practices and continuously improve assembly techniques.
- Perform general labor and production-related tasks as needed to support overall manufacturing operations.
- Carry out other duties as assigned to meet production goals and support the needs of the manufacturing team.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, including basic work orders and assembly directions.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a mechanical or production environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and a mechanically inclined mindset for working with assemblies and components.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics at a basic level.
- Proficiency using tape measures and basic measuring tools to verify dimensions.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and adherence to quality standards.
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks on an assembly line or at a bench while maintaining focus and accuracy.
- General labor and production experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Reliability and demonstrated longevity in previous roles, showing commitment and consistency in employment.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Prior mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and 5S practices.
- Comfort operating shop machinery such as presses, air drivers, and torque wrenches.
- Experience assembling products like paint sprayers, power rollers, or similar mechanical equipment.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to participate in one-on-one training.
- Ability to work safely and follow established safety procedures and guidelines.
