Machinist

Weimer Bearing & Transmission is seeking an entry level machinist to join our growing Minneapolis team, part of our ISC Division.

We specialize in high-tech mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical motion control products and services, supporting major manufacturing and maintenance companies across a wide range of industries. • Operate saw and make sure all material is cut and prepped for CNC machines
• Run already setup CNC lathes/mills (with ability to learn more about programming)
• Run manual mill/lathes
• Small assembly work as needed
• Broach keyways and press bearings as needed
• Use forklift to move material off trucks and move scrap bins
• Use crane to load material onto racks and the auto saw

• 40 hours a week minimum
• Good attendance
• Machining related schooling is a plus but not required
• CNC operating on Haas mills/lathes a plus but not required
• Good work ethic
• Must know how to read a tape measure and dial caliper (will be tested in interview)
• Ability to lift 50lbs, bend, twist
• Manual machining on lathes and mills a plus but not required
