About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established manufacturer serving the medical device industry, is seeking experienced Engineering Technicians to support CNC machining operations at its Minnesota facilities. This position is ideal for someone with Swiss CNC or milling experience who enjoys programming, process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Create and optimize CNC programs for Swiss or milling machining centers.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications.
  • Develop repeatable, efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot machining and production issues.
  • Select tooling and improve cycle times.
  • Support process validations, engineering testing, and change control.
  • Create work instructions and process documentation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to improve manufacturing performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
Required
  • 2+ years of experience in CNC programming, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Experience programming Swiss CNC and/or milling machines.
  • Strong understanding of G-code.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software (Esprit, NX, Solid Works, or similar).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
  • Medical device or precision machining experience.
  • ISO 13485 manufacturing environment.
  • LEAN or Six Sigma experience.
  • Tooling and fixture design experience.
