Competitive wage ranged between $24.52 - $29.46/hour (wage range reflects base pay. There is a shift differential of an additional $1.00/hour for 2nd shift). - Schedule

Monday-Friday, 2:00p.m.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our 2nd shift team. You will package, label, and prepare twist drill bits and other manufactured items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality in all outgoing orders. As a key member of the House Orders department, you will work alongside Shipping and Receiving associates and report to the House Orders Facilitator.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret job cards and distribution slips to verify correct packaging requirements.
- Verify drill bit sizes using measuring devices such as micrometers and rulers.
- Package products according to specifications and ensure proper routing of shipments.
- Inspect products for defects and maintain acceptable packaging standards.
- Label, count, and inventory products accurately, recording all data on required paperwork.
- Rotate through packaging stations, including tubing, sets, stamping, and hand packaging.
- Inspect outgoing shipments to verify correct order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training opportunities.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as job cards and distribution slips.
- Strong math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability to work full-time with reliable attendance.
- Willingness to train and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives.
