The Stacker stacks filled cases onto a skid or pallet in the proper formation, keeping up with the assigned pack lines. Set up and change box erector as needed at start-up and changeovers. Supply pack stations with boxes, tape and other materials as needed. Set up printer carts with supplies and clean as necessary. Uses pallet jacks to move full skids or pallets to warehouse.
MajorJob Duties
- Neatly stack correct amount of product, in the correct arrangement, onto skid or pallet.
- Monitor for damaged product or equipment malfunction to maintain quality and quantity.
- Keep each packaging line filled with cartons, tape and other materials needed.
- Follow directions as given by supervisor & inform supervisor of problems with quality/ quantity.
- Set up case label printers for scheduled production items and assure all product case labels are correct.
- Set up and change box erector.
- Set up printer carts with supplies and clean.
- Housekeeping - keep work area clear of debris.
- Follow company rules and policies.
- Ability to lift 50
LBS in a safe and proper manner. - Must obtain and maintain pallet jack certification.
- Must have dependable attendance.
- Must have the ability to operate a handheld scanning device for making label entries and scanning material for inventory.
- Must have basic skills in math, reading, writing and communication.
- Reach out with hand and arms continuously below shoulder level and overhead levels.
- Bend at the knees, waist or hips up to 50% of the workday.
- Repetitive stacking of cases weighing up to 13 – pounds for 8 hours plus.
- Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand 8 hours of the workday.
- Ability to pull and push palletized loads with a pallet jack into various plant areas.
- Work cautiously on slippery floors.
- Work 40 hours, 5 days a week with possible daily overtime and weekend work if scheduled.

Preferred- Read and comprehend packaging material and schedules.
- Communicate with others to maintain safety and quality of product.
- Past experience in a manufacturing or machine paced setting a plus.
- Work well closely with others.
