The Shipping Clerk is responsible for material movement, including unloading and loading trucks, cycle counting inventory, and shipping UPS orders, while adhering to all safety and quality procedures. Additional responsibilities include printing carton labels, palletizing products, and maintaining cleanliness within the warehouse. This position operates under the terms of a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
- Read job tickets and deliver raw materials to designated production machines
- Interpret job tickets for customer-specific requirements
- Conduct inventory cycle counts
- Stock empty pallets on the production floor
- Locate and deliver stock to the Business Services WIP area
- Transport raw materials to the production floor, including paper, pallets, cartons, and window film
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks
- Process shipments using UPS World Ship software
- Move pallets in and out of the inspection area
- Receive, wrap, and store pallets of finished products
- Pull orders by stacking products onto pallets
- Assist with stacking cartons onto pallets on the production floor as needed
- Monitor raw material inventory and notify appropriate personnel of low stock levels
- Complete OSHA checklists for material handling equipment
- Charge and maintain electric batteries for material handling equipment
- Report unsafe conditions to management
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work overtime as needed

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in the print, paper or envelope industries preferred
