Operator I
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operator I to join a medical device manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble, inspect, repair, and test life-saving medical devices in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, have strong attention to detail, and are committed to producing high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, repair, inspect, and test medical device components according to standard operating procedures.
- Follow detailed written work instructions and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and traceability documentation.
- Operate basic manufacturing equipment and electronic data collection systems.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues and improvements.
- Follow all safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.
- Support production goals while maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
- Strong manual dexterity and the ability to handle small components.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Cleanroom/medical device manufacturing environment.
- Requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must follow strict quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Clean, non-shedding clothing free of loose fibers or frayed edges.
- Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required.
- No sandals, slippers, open-back shoes, or high heels.
- No makeup, nail polish, artificial nails, perfumes, or scented products.
- Minimal jewelry only; items that interfere with gloves or safety equipment are prohibited.
- Clothing must fully cover the torso, upper arms, and legs.
- All attire must fit properly under required cleanroom gowns and protective equipment.
