Operator I

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operator I to join a medical device manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble, inspect, repair, and test life-saving medical devices in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, have strong attention to detail, and are committed to producing high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, repair, inspect, and test medical device components according to standard operating procedures.
  • Follow detailed written work instructions and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and traceability documentation.
  • Operate basic manufacturing equipment and electronic data collection systems.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues and improvements.
  • Follow all safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.
  • Support production goals while maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
  • Strong manual dexterity and the ability to handle small components.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
  • Cleanroom/medical device manufacturing environment.
  • Requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must follow strict quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Dress Code Requirements
  • Clean, non-shedding clothing free of loose fibers or frayed edges.
  • Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required.
  • No sandals, slippers, open-back shoes, or high heels.
  • No makeup, nail polish, artificial nails, perfumes, or scented products.
  • Minimal jewelry only; items that interfere with gloves or safety equipment are prohibited.
  • Clothing must fully cover the torso, upper arms, and legs.
  • All attire must fit properly under required cleanroom gowns and protective equipment.
