** Assembly Operators on 2nd shift
** to join our team. In this role you will perform a variety of duties involved in assembly, packaging, and paint preparation.
** WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
*** Work individually or as part of a team to assemble, fill, kit, prepare, label, and/or package an entire product or component of a product according to Work Instructions.
* Completes work based on specifications, drawings, job routings, and/or Work Instructions.
* Selects and moves production materials as required.
* Maintains equipment and materials necessary to complete the operation.
* Meets established safety, quality, and performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
* Records accurate information on Manufacturing Order and performs transactions necessary to maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
* Complies with all applicable safety procedures, quality specifications, and 5S Standards. Reports adverse conditions, non-conforming products/procedures, and 5S violations to department leader in accordance to escalation procedure.
* Adheres to department 5S standards daily. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
* In accordance with escalation procedure, notify team leader or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning safety, quality, equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.
* Demonstrates flexibility by performing rotational assignments as needed. Participates actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.
** YOU HAVE:
*** High School Diploma or GED, preferred
* Knowledge in use of scales, preferred
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferred
* Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints, preferred
* Experience in assembling mechanical parts into a finished product, preferred
* Experience in using hand and power tools, preferred
* Prior experience working in a light industrial facility preferred
** Pay Transparency
** nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

** Compensation Range:**$14.80 - $27.50 Per Hour Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
