Laboratory Technician

Day Shift (Monday - Friday) | Long-Term Opportunity | Excellent Way to Get into a Laboratory Setting

This role supports the manufacturing of biological medical devices within a regulated cleanroom environment. The Laboratory Technician performs hands-on processing of porcine tissue, prepares and mixes chemical solutions, and follows strict procedures.

• Work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment to support the production of biological medical devices derived from porcine liver.
• Receive porcine livers and verify they meet required specifications before processing.
• Trim porcine livers accurately and consistently to prepare tissue for further processing.
• Scoop, measure, and mix chemical solutions for use in tissue processing, following established formulas and procedures.
• Perform decellularization of porcine livers according to SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Create, cut, and prepare specific tissue pieces to meet device design and size specifications.
• Collaborate with a small team of technicians and R&D staff to meet production timelines and quality standards.
• Comply with all safety, regulatory, and quality policies applicable to a regulated biotech manufacturing environment.

• Associate degree in a scientific field such as biology is preferred.
• Previous roles such as butcher, barista, quality technician in the food industry, landscaping, or similar hands-on positions can be beneficial, especially when combined with a scientific degree, even if the degree is outdated.

The position is based in a new biotech facility with a cleanroom that is being built out to support expanding production.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
