Medical Device Assembler
Come create your career with Volt. Volt is immediately hiring a Medical Device Assembler in Plymouth, MN 55442.
As a Medical Device Assembler you will:
- Assemble, repair, and test medical devices and catheters in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), FDA, and GMP guidelines to ensure product quality and compliance
- Perform microscope assembly and handle small, precision components
- Complete documentation (paper & electronic) for traceability and quality control
- Maintain cleanroom protocols and adhere to all safety procedures
- Perform repetitive fine motor tasks (grasping, pinching, twisting) with high attention to detail
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively in a production environment
This is a full time, contract opportunity.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM Monday through Thursday
The ideal candidate will have:
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a Medical Device Assembler or Production Assembler.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and compliance standards
- Ability to follow written work instructions and SOPs.
- Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts
- Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods
- Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping.
- Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cleanroom manufacturing experience
- Experience in regulated industries (medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech)
Pay Rate*: $17.50 - $19.25 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
