Job Description

The Leveler Operator Assistant position supports and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and strives to improve safety, quality, and efficienc y in all areas of responsibility. Sets up and operates automatic leveling, sheeting, console-operated equipment to level length and stack weigh flat sheets of various gauges of material to customer requirements.

Work from customer orders, engineered layouts, and general instructions.

Pay Range: $26.27 - $28.27 per hour

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience with leveler machine.
• Prior steel industry experience and product knowledge preferred.
• Operational knowledge of crane operation, forklift operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Production operation experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work on 3rd shift, 11:00pm - 7:00am, S-Th.
