Assembler Position

Twin City Staffing is hiring an assembler for a cutting-edge prefabrication facility in Minneapolis, MN! In this role, you will build complex cold-formed steel framing systems, panels, trusses, and box beams using 3D models, engineering drawings, and custom jigs. Location:

Minneapolis, MN Wage: $32.00 – $40.00/hr. (Plus quarterly/yearly bonuses and profit sharing)

Hours:

1st Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday

Duties of the assembler:

• Assemble curved and straight cold-formed steel framing systems, panels, trusses, and box beams according to engineering drawings
• Reference 3D model software (Rhino) on tablets/computers to address gaps and plan jigging strategies for custom build runs
• Execute precision dry-fitting, truing, dimensional verification, and screw-pattern fastening per engineering specs
• Perform final quality control inspections on dimensions, labeling, and packing-plan sequences before signing off on outgoing shipments

Requirements of the assembler:

• 10+ years of hands-on construction experience with significant time building and installing cold-formed steel framing on commercial projects
• Journeyman-level carpentry and framing skills including layout, squaring, measurement, and precision fastening
• Field leadership experience as a foreman, lead framer, or crew lead on commercial framing projects
• Experience with curved or complex framing conditions, prefabrication, or panelized construction
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/move throughout the shift
