Experienced Manufacturing Technician - 3rd Shift (Finance)

As a Manufacturing Technician here at Honeywell, you will employ critical thinking in a clean room environment. Use your knowledge of chemistry fundamentals to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under direct supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented chemists to develop and optimize chemical formulations, conduct experiments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development of Honeywell's next generation of products.

You will run experiments and tests to aid in the development of improved manufacturing procedures and processes. You will be a part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of our projects and programs.

In this role, you will impact Honeywell's offerings by ensuring the seamless integration of chemistry principles into product development, enhancing the quality and innovation of Honeywell's offerings. Your leadership fosters a dynamic and collaborative environment, ultimately driving the company's success by pushing the boundaries of scientific possibilities.

This role will support 3rd shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am Sunday-Thursday night. Please note training may take place on a different shift

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure product conformity and adherence to specifications
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Document production data and maintain accurate records
Qualifications

MUST HAVES

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use manufacturing tools and equipment
  • Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a clean room laboratory
  • Works under minimal supervision

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science degree
  • Leadership or coaching experience to direct and/or indirect reports
