Sunday-Friday | 10:00 PM-6:30 AM | Consistent Overnight Schedule

WPSFresh is looking for dependable, hardworking 3rd Shift Sanitation Employees to help keep our food production facility clean, safe, and ready for production.

This is a hands-on overnight sanitation position working in a refrigerated/cold food production environment
. You'll play an important role in making sure our equipment, production lines, and facility are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized so our team is ready to safely produce high-quality food each day.

Your regular schedule will be Sunday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

What You'll Do

As part of our 3rd Shift Sanitation team, you'll help reset our facility overnight and prepare it for the next production day.

  • Clean and sanitize food processing equipment, conveyors, production lines, utensils, and production areas.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned.
  • Wash, scrub, rinse, and sanitize floors, walls, drains, ceilings, and other facility areas.
  • Remove food residue, debris, and waste from production areas.
  • Follow established sanitation procedures, SSOPs, and the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Safely mix, handle, and use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment and production areas are clean and ready for use.
  • Complete sanitation logs and required documentation accurately.
  • Identify and report equipment damage, maintenance needs, or food safety concerns.
  • Follow GMPs, HACCP requirements, USDA/FDA regulations, and company food safety procedures.
  • Wear required PPE and follow all plant safety procedures.
  • Assist with environmental monitoring and corrective actions when needed.
  • Work closely with Production and Quality teams to maintain high sanitation standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What to Expect

We want candidates to know what the job is really like before joining our team.

  • 3rd Shift: Sunday through Friday,
    10:00 PM-6:30 AM
  • Cold environment: This position works in a refrigerated food production facility where temperatures are kept cooler for food safety and product quality.
  • Hands-on work: You'll be on your feet, moving, bending, reaching, scrubbing, washing, and cleaning throughout your shift.
  • Wet environment: Sanitation work involves water, cleaning solutions, and sanitizing chemicals.
  • PPE required: You'll wear appropriate personal protective equipment to help keep you safe and comfortable while performing sanitation duties.
  • Some overtime, weekend work, or schedule flexibility may occasionally be needed based on production needs.
What We're Looking For

Sanitation experience is helpful, but it isn't required. We can train the right person.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Dependable and committed to showing up for their scheduled overnight shifts.
  • Comfortable working Sunday through Friday from 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
    .
  • Comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated environment for extended periods.
  • Hardworking and willing to perform physical, hands-on cleaning work.
  • Detail-oriented and takes pride in leaving equipment and work areas thoroughly clean.
  • Able to follow written procedures and safety instructions.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable safely handling cleaning chemicals and wearing required PPE.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Willing to learn and follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous sanitation, food manufacturing, janitorial, warehouse, or production experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience safely disassembling and reassembling equipment.
  • Familiarity with cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
