Productivity Inc seeks a CNC Fabrication Specialist to operate advanced CNC laser and press brake equipment for precision metal fabrication. In this on-site role, you will set up, program, and run CNC machinery, interpret blueprints, and verify part quality using precision measuring tools. You'll collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize setups, improve throughput, and reduce scrap while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC laser and press brake equipment to produce precision fabricated parts
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine setup and fabrication requirements
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to verify quality and adherence to specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting on CNC fabrication equipment
  • Optimize machine parameters, tooling, and setups to improve throughput and reduce scrap
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve manufacturability issues and improve processes
  • Document setups, programs, and production data in accordance with company standards
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Required Skills

  • CNC laser operation
  • CNC press brake setup and operation
  • Blueprint and technical drawing reading
  • CNC programming/editing (G-code or OEM interfaces)
  • Use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Sheet metal fabrication techniques
  • Fixture and tooling setup
  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • CAD/CAM or nesting software usage
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and procedures
