Printed Circuit Board Test Technician

Are you someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and working with electronics? We're looking for a Printed Circuit Board Test Technician to join our client's team in New Hope, MN. In this role, you'll play an important part in delivering high quality circuit board products to customers by testing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing electronic assemblies.

Pay: $24.39 to $27.64 per hour

Shift Options:

Production Shift 1

  • Monday through Thursday: 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 5:30 AM to 9:30 AM

Production Shift 2

  • Monday through Thursday: 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM

As a PCB Test Technician, you will help ensure our products meet performance and quality expectations by:

  • Performing setup, calibration, inspection, troubleshooting, and quality verification of circuit boards, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
  • Testing circuit board products using a variety of electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools to verify functionality and compliance with design specifications
  • Identifying defects in nonconforming products and completing repairs using appropriate rework equipment
  • Creating shop orders for customer returns and performing necessary repairs
  • Assisting with the development and assembly of custom test fixtures used in circuit board testing applications
  • Creating and maintaining accurate test procedures and documentation
  • Providing technical support and process improvement feedback to coworkers and production teams
  • Supporting workplace organization and cleanliness through the 5S program within the QA test area

  • Experience testing, troubleshooting, repairing, or calibrating electronic assemblies, circuit boards, or related products
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation and procedures
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt in a fast paced manufacturing environment
