We are hiring a Senior Production Operator specializing in wired chassis, electronics assembly, and manufacturing production operations. This role supports wiring, component installation, chassis assembly, hand soldering, cable harnessing, inspection, testing, and integration of electronic and mechanical components using hand tools, presses, schematics, drawings, and established manufacturing processes.

The Senior Manufacturing / Production Operator performs repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables, and chassis. Candidates should have experience working from Bills of Material (BOM), performing basic electrical testing, following inspection criteria, using measuring equipment, and completing rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform wired chassis assembly, including wiring, component installation, and integration of electronic and mechanical components into chassis assemblies.
  • Use hand tools, presses, measuring equipment, and other production equipment to assemble and integrate components.
  • Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Assemble modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables, chassis, and related hardware.
  • Read and interpret basic schematics, drawings, Bills of Material (BOM), work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Follow established methods, techniques, and sequences of operations for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
  • Integrate subassemblies into final hardware and perform final assembly of small systems.
  • Perform basic electrical testing of components, assemblies, and completed hardware.
  • Inspect assemblies for polarity, workmanship, component installation, and compliance with applicable quality criteria.
  • Perform complex rework and refurbishment of electronic and mechanical hardware and systems.
  • Maintain accurate production and work order information using applicable tracking and manufacturing management systems.
  • Maintain a clean production work area and adhere to established quality specifications and manufacturing procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and production processes.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing, production assembly, electronics assembly, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of electronic component polarity and applicable inspection criteria.
  • Experience reading and working from basic schematics, drawings, Bills of Material (BOM), and manufacturing instructions.
  • Experience with wiring and electronic and/or mechanical component installation.
  • Experience using hand tools, presses, measuring equipment, and related production tools.
  • Knowledge of hand soldering and cable harnessing processes.
  • Experience with electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Knowledge of basic manufacturing mathematics and measurement techniques.
  • Experience with applicable work order tracking or manufacturing management systems.
  • Ability to perform basic electrical testing, inspection, rework, and refurbishment of hardware and assemblies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to identify opportunities to apply AI tools or technologies to manufacturing continuous improvement and process innovation.
