Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the plastics industry, is seeking a dedicated Extruder Operator to join their team. As an Extruder Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Extruder Operator

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay Rate:$22.00/hour

Shift:Monday - Friday; 3:00PM - 11:30PM

What's the Job?

  • Set up and operate extrusion machinery to produce color concentrates according to specifications.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
  • Weigh ingredients and manage material handling to meet recipe requirements.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Document production data accurately and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in plastics manufacturing, colorant production, or extrusion processes.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and ISO standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel.
  • Strong manual dexterity, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
