SummaryPD is looking for a quality and safety-oriented Laser Operator that works in an efficient manner to ensure smooth workflow throughout shop. This role is critical to ensuring precision, efficiency, and consistency across production, while maintaining a clean, organized, and high-performing shop environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, operates with a strong sense of accountability, and brings a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
A successful Laser Operator is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement. They work efficiently to keep materials moving through the shop, are willing to put in extra time when needed to meet demand and take ownership of both their output and their workspace. This individual is naturally curious, eager to learn new skills, and comfortable adapting in a fast-paced, retail-driven environment.
EssentialDuties/Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC laser equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards
- Inspect parts and document accuracy to meet all required criteria
- Perform routine equipment maintenance as recommended
- Support production needs across departments as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Flexibility to travel between multiple PD locations
- Welding skills a plus
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment
Education/Certification- High School Diploma or GED
- Prefer 2-year technical/business degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience operating Laser cutting equipment.
Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting may be required throughout the workday.
