Job Specific
Essential Functions:Synthesizes oligos on various synthesizer platformsCleaves and deprotects oligos utilizing appropriate methodsQuantifies and samples oligos for quality control testsAttaches modifications utilizing various techniquesAdheres to safety regulations, lab SOPs, and contamination controlsUses lab equipment including limited maintenance and troubleshooting activitiesUses custom software packages to complete tasks and create final productAssesses QC data accurately and makes pass/fail decisions for oligosHandles expensive oligos and reagentsKeeps thorough records of specialized processes in the oligo process historyFollows documented custom instructions, when applicableDemonstrates behavior consistent with the IDT's Core ValuesPerforms other duties as assignedPosition Specific

US High School diploma or GEDProficiency with computer skills with the ability to accurately use SOPs and work instructionsOther
