* Position Summary:

** The Kit Assembly Supervisor is responsible for the daily management of a kit assembly work team. Under the direction of the Area Manager, this role leads a team of 4-8 direct reports, directing personnel and prioritizing assembly assignments to complete production orders and ensure on-time delivery to customers. The Supervisor trains new personnel on relevant SOPs, collaborates with cross-functional teams, mentors direct reports, and directly assists in kit assembly activities as needed.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Supervise personnel and provide guidance to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
* Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports and provide performance and career development feedback.
* Author, review, and approve controlled documents related to product kitting.
* Actively promote and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Monitor and manage kit assembly inventory.
* Complete assigned action items related to change control, nonconformance investigations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
* Review and compile daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
* Coordinate with adjacent department leaders to troubleshoot kit-related issues.
* Develop and maintain a working knowledge of kit assembly processes and participate in assembly activities when necessary.
* Follow all company safety, quality, and training procedures and regulations.
* Lead daily tier board meetings.
* Participate in area 5S and Gemba walk activities.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
** QUALIFICATIONS

* Education and Experience:

** Requires a bachelor's degree with up to 3 years of relevant experience;
Or, an Associate degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
*** Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
* Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic production environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.
* Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments.

* Working Conditions:

*** Work is performed in a manufacturing and production environment.
* Exposure to standard production equipment, materials, and laboratory/manufacturing processes.
* Minimal travel required.
* Must adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

* Physical Requirements:

*** Ability to lift and handle materials weighing 5-50 lbs.
* Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive assembly tasks for extended periods.
* Manual dexterity required for handling components, tools, and assembly equipment.
* Ability to bend, reach, and move materials throughout the work area as needed.
