Key Duties

• Direct and organize the daily tasks of CNC operators and machinists to facilitate streamlined manufacturing workflows.
• Oversee equipment functionality and resolve technical complications to help maximize overall shop productivity.
• Promote a culture of safety by implementing and upholding rigorous protocols to help maintain a secure environment for all staff.
• Perform consistent quality checks on completed parts to verify they align with established specifications and standards.
• Provide guidance and instruction to staff regarding machining methods, machinery usage, and safety standards.
• Work alongside production and engineering departments to refine processes and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Keep precise documentation regarding operational metrics, equipment upkeep, and staff contributions.
• Support the creation and execution of production timelines to ensure customer requirements are satisfied.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated background in CNC machining, including a minimum of 3-5 years in a management or lead capacity.
• Comprehensive understanding of CNC setup, operation, and programming.
• Superior communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on inspiring and directing a multifaceted team.
• Working knowledge of inspection methods and quality assurance procedures.
• Capacity to analyze and translate complex technical blueprints and requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset and a keen eye for precision.
• Skilled in the application of various precision measurement instruments.
• Completion of high school or equivalent education; technical credentials are considered an asset.
