Merjent, Inc. seeks a creative and experienced Marketing and Digital Communications Specialist to join our Growth team. The successful candidate will support the Marketing Manager with company-wide marketing initiatives. This position will focus on enhancing Merjent's brand presence through digital channels, including the website, social media, and online campaigns, and through the design and development of marketing materials. This role may also include conference and industry event support as needed.
This role is ideal for an early- to mid-career professional with a strong eye for design, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for building cohesive, engaging, and visually compelling communications that reflect Merjent's values and services.
This is a full-time benefits eligible hybrid opportunity that can be based near our Minneapolis, Minnesota or our Appleton, WI office locations. The anticipated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 and $92,000 annually, depending upon qualifications and experience.

- Develop and execute digital marketing and social media strategies, including content creation, scheduling, analytics, and targeted advertising.
- Create and manage branded digital content across platforms, ensuring consistency with company standards and goals.
- Maintain and optimize website content, layout, digital assets, and SEO performance in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
- Design and produce digital and print marketing materials, including presentations, social media graphics, sell sheets, and event collateral.
- Provide marketing coordination support, including proposal production, database maintenance, and conference and event support.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, digital media, or related field preferred, with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing social media, web content, and digital marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or Canva as well as Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, etc). Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Word Press), basic HTML/CSS, and analytics or scheduling tools a plus.
- Experience supporting conferences, trade shows, or marketing events, including coordination with vendors, printers, or promotional suppliers, preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to coordinate logistics across internal teams, vendors, and external partners; comfortable managing schedules, deliverables, and budgets.
- Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment (MN or WI), operate standard office equipment, lift marketing materials as needed, and travel occasionally with flexible hours for events.
