Associate Strategy Director

• Lead end-to-end strategy projects involving brand creation, value proposition development, campaigns, go-to-market plans, experience mapping, journey design, messaging hierarchy, content strategy, and roadmaps
• Translate client business challenges and opportunities into defined approaches or project plans
• Partner with Creative, Design, UX, Analytics, and Technology teams to gather requirements and ensure strategic vision is executed
• Facilitate senior-level client conversations and explain strategic rationale
• Translate research, industry trends, competitive analysis, and data insights into strategic recommendations
• Map, audit, and analyze customer journeys and experiences; identify optimization opportunities and build delivery roadmaps
• Conduct and analyze qualitative and quantitative research using stakeholder interviews, surveys, and third-party tools such as SEMRush, MRI Simmons, Hotjar, and Persado
• Advocate for user-centered design and human-centered strategic planning
• Monitor industry trends, digital innovations, and marketing technology advancements
• Create and deliver presentations and strategic storytelling using PowerPoint, Miro, and other tools
• Manage and mentor early-career strategists
• Independently lead strategy engagements from ambiguous client questions through actionable recommendations
• Guide strategists and collaborate with Creative, UX, Analytics, Technology, and Client Services

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent certifications/work experience
• 8+ years relevant work experience in digital marketing, customer experience, brand strategy or content strategy roles
• Agency or consultancy experience is required
• Working knowledge and experience with martech strategy and platforms, such as Salesforce, Braze, and AEM, including creation or modification of journeys, segments, and campaigns
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with designers, analysts, developers, marketers, and others
• Ability to synthesize data and research findings into insights and strategic narratives
• Experience in a lead role on an account or with a client, including strategic leadership at project and account levels
• Experience designing and architecting projects and scopes of work

Demonstrates expertise in leading strategy projects, including brand creation, customer journey mapping, and content strategy. Proficient in synthesizing data insights into actionable recommendations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
