Supervisor - Paid Social

Sitting at the intersection of high-level strategy and execution, the Paid Social Supervisor plays a pivotal role in bringing our paid social strategies to life across platforms like Meta, Tik Tok, Linked In, and Pinterest. This role serves as a key bridge within our team by directly managing and mentoring the Senior Manager of Social while providing crucial operational and day-to-day strategic support to the Associate Media Director of Social.

We are looking for a collaborative, performance-driven leader with a passion for social media, data-driven storytelling, and team growth. You will help guide channel frameworks, oversee campaign excellence, elevate team output, and foster trusted relationships across internal creative, planning, and client teams.

Directly manage, mentor, and foster the growth of the Senior Manager of Social, guiding their campaign execution, platform best practices, and professional development.

Oversee quality control for social deliverables prepared by direct reports, including media plans, campaign setups, and reporting dashboards.

Support the Associate Media Director of Social in developing overarching paid social strategies, channel frameworks, and integrated campaign approaches.

Translate AMD vision into clear execution tactics and day-to-day workflows for the social team.

Serve as the key escalation point for daily campaign optimizations, platform troubleshooting, and budget allocations.

Supervise paid social campaigns across platforms including Meta, Tik Tok, Linked In, Pinterest, and emerging channels.

Oversee high-level budget pacing, forecasting, and billing across clients to ensure accuracy against planned spend.

Guide test-and-learn agendas, audience segmentation strategies, and creative optimization plans.

Partner with the AMD to deliver actionable insights, performance narrative framing, and strategic recommendations to clients.

Review and approve client dashboards (Google Looker Studio) and routine performance reports.

Maintain strong relationships with social platform representatives to leverage beta features, tools, and industry trends.

Strategic & Tactical Balance:
Ability to translate high-level social strategy into actionable campaign tactics.

Leadership & Mentorship:
Passion for guiding direct reports, providing constructive feedback, and fostering professional growth.

Social Expertise:
In-depth technical knowledge of paid social platforms (Meta, Tik Tok, Linked In, Pinterest) and campaign optimization strategies.

Analytical Thinking:
Ability to synthesize campaign data into clear narratives and strategic takeaways for clients and internal leadership.

5–7 years of digital media experience, specifically focusing on paid social planning, buying, and optimization within an agency environment.

Prior experience managing, mentoring, or leading direct reports.

Expert proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, Tik Tok Ads Manager, Linked In Campaign Manager, Pinterest Ads, and Google Data Studio.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of media planning tools (e.g. You Gov, Vivvix, Media Radar)

Proven leadership and team management skills.
