PositionSummary
The Youth Services Coordinator plays an impactful role supporting children, teens, and their families within PPL’s housing communities. The position provides case management, youth programming, and family engagement, using a culturally inclusive and trauma‑informed, two‑generation approach. Our team responds to the unique cultural, economic, and social needs of youth and their parents, and understand the importance of utilizing individual’s unique strengths to help them meet their goals.
WhatYou’ll Do Youth Programming
- Design and facilitate six youth enrichment series per year, based on community input
- Deliver project‑based programming or coordinate with community partners to provide workshops such as:
- Art therapy
- Cooking
- Sports
- Academic support
- Health and development topics
- Partner with Family Services Coordinators to co‑lead monthly family enrichment activities
- Supervise, coach, and collaborate with volunteers, work‑study students, and interns to support youth and family programming
- Maintain accurate documentation, including:
- Case notes
- Incident reports
- Attendance
- Program evaluations
