Operations Manager

Minneapolis Choir Collective is hiring an Operations Manager. This is a 9-month seasonal job running September – May, and is compensated at $650/month. The job is expected to take around 5–8 hours per week. The position is directly supervised by the executive director. MCC is seeking candidates with interest and/or experience in arts administration.

• Internal Communications
  • Sending weekly internal emails to the choir
  • Organizing email lists and rosters
  • Making nametags prior to the first rehearsal of each concert
• Marketing / Fundraising
  • Coordinating design/printing of marketing materials and programs
  • Managing social media, ticketing, merch, & the website
  • Communicating with news and community organizations about concerts
  • Coordinating with our videographer and uploading content
  • Supporting ED with fundraiser planning & implementation
  • Writing and sending out a monthly newsletter to our broader community
• Rehearsal/concert logistics:
  • Coordinating the printing of sheet music prior to the first rehearsal
  • Booking venues
  • Coordinating with volunteers to run front-of-house
  • Coordinating riser rental and transporting risers to our concert venues
